In Class: In class Peer-Review Workshops

I dont like in class peer-reviews that much.  It's nice just to have someone read over your paper to look for little errors that you might have missed, but overall, im not a fan.  I feel like sometimes they dont actually read your paper that carefully and just give you responses and questions about your paper that seem like they came out of left field. I have found that people sometimes suggest changes that I totally disagree with and then it makes me second guess my work.

  1. I agree, it is really nice to have the extra set of eyes. Sometimes I think peer-evaluation is a waste of time, but I am actually looking forward to reading everyone else's papers to get a better idea of the arguments public spaces are making.

  2. I think the most tough part is to read someone else's essay with care since they will hear what exact you will judge on his/her paper and obviously he/she knows much much more about his/her own essay than others do.
